Current events discussion

That doesn't speak to your lack of understanding for some basic concepts of fluid dynamics.
Let's stick to that topic, and then we can discuss my mental well-being.

What makes you think a square port is better than a round port for airflow? What makes you think right angles in a port are better for airflow than curved surfaces?
"Can't", or "won't"?
Sorry, that doesn't make it better to not have round ports.

Completely disregarding that ports are a compromise in quality to begin with, the laws of physics do not bend to your whims.
I literally said round ports are most efficient...why do you have comprehension problems? Once again, holy shit Rob once again, ok? I'm even typing slower so you can understand....you can't....fit round ports.....in a lot of boxes.....because the shapes don't layout well....I'm a seasoned box designer of 17 years....post a single box you've ever done to even begin to be taken seriously....if not......go seek mental health help....

You called a white paper on fluid dynamics "lame ***" info, and argued I have no idea what I'm talking about when I've said all along that square/rectangular ports are worse than round ports (which are worse than no ports).

Instead of agreeing, you insisted I knew nothing, and had no clue what I was talking about.

I don't have pics of the boxes I built (cellphones did not have cameras, and taking pics of my work was not something I did), but I can tell you the designs.
I started out with simple sealed designs, moved into ported, played around with bandpass, isobaric, compound isobaric, aperiodic (nice for compact cars).

I did more isobaric than any of the others. My customers liked the style with the reversed external woofer to show off the magnet and basket. A few had them painted to match their cars.
The best one was probably the guy with the Supra painted in pearl white with a flip-flop clearcoat. His amps were the same. Kid had $$ and it copied the idea of the Precision Power line.
We also did a bunch of performance work to the car.

"Republican Representative Thomas Massie publicly defended victims of Jeffrey Epstein, calling for full transparency in documents related to the financier’s criminal case. Massie stressed that victims deserve answers, accountability, and access to information that could reveal how powerful individuals may have been involved.

Following Massie’s statements, President Donald Trump appeared on a live radio show and described Massie as an “insurgent” who should be “taken out.” His phrasing drew immediate attention for its aggressive tone and was widely criticized as alarming and threatening."

By "insurgent" he means "cool person", and by "taken out", he means on a date for dinner and a show.
He's not a literal guy. We all know this.

Cool story grandpa, you should do a build...

First vid very important, rfk jr in first part, talking about it:

Don't let eugenicists change your genetics

"Because it has been described that patients with vitamin A deficiency can have a more severe course, the WHO recommends low doses of vitamin A for children diagnosed with measles," Dr. Carla Garcia Carreno, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at Children's Medical Center Plano in Texas, told ABC News. "This is a supplementation in case of deficiency, and it is not intended to treat the virus. High doses of vitamin A can have serious consequences."
"Neither vitamin A nor cod liver oil will treat measles," she concluded.

'Sounds a lot like that time Trump saw a posterboard saying that disinfectants and UV kill the virus, then decided that they were a cure if taken internally.

Yeah, because the laws of physics, fluid dynamics, Thiele Small parameters have changed since 1925.
That helmholtz hole you create in a box makes different noise now, as the air moving over it has changed. More nitrogen, perhaps?
lol
the whole box is a Helmholtz resonator, not just the hole in the box 😉

I created a Helmholtz hole in your mom's box. It resonated so well the walls blew out.

Actually how the basics work:

Just for anyone else interested.

You have raw wavelength tuning which is simply distance but then you have relative mass loading between the chamber and port, basically, where ratios there greatly influence resonance, such as a box can resonate way below what its wavelength distance is because you can create such a large chamber to port ratio. It's all about timing the energy of a standing wave in a structured mass of air. Helmholtz is like relative mass tuning to me because ratios matter, which differs somewhat from transmission lines but both wavelength and mass ratio tunings can be applied and used together, basically.

Wavelength tuning:

This is wavelength tuning:
