Hey Rob, so tell me why an angular port is bad, such as this enclosure here:

Why would someone not use a round port for this? Do you know what this type of enclosure is called? I've actually designed one of these before for a vehicle although with a different layout.

And it's still a wavelength based line but mine isn't flared the same way but it's a lot of the same math, same concept applied slightly differently.
So maybe you can explain to me why me and like every horn and line builder ever is wrong. Can't wait to be enlightened.
WTF is your problem? Clearly you should buy a shyt ton of PVC pipe to construct those enclosures. Or perhaps make your tapered lines with fiberglass. Construction challenges aside, last I checked wooden angular ports function just as well as round bent ports. There maybe some rare instances where I'm super cramped on space and might prefer round over slot ports, but that would a rare case indeed. There is a reason for the popularity of slot ports.
