I literally <---- told Rob that "your future is what you make it." He claims I can predict the future. Actually, he claims that I CLAIM I can predict the future.

Interesting. Most people understand that that statement isn't a claim to be able predict or control the future. OTOH, even after pages of examples and explanations, Rob still thinks Sleepy Joe was literal. No matter what you say Rob will go to his grave thinking that you believe you can predict the future.

Rob is now 1924 & 0. Rob is the Tom Brady of intrawebz political debate. Some people say arguing on the intrawebz is waste of time because nobody wins. Clearly whoever coined the phrase never met the almighty Rob.

Rob's problem is that he accesses the internet to locate answers in an attempt to prove himself right. However, when you don't comprehend what answers you come across you end up being wrong anyway. Rob ignores that assuming that any answer he finds is correct as long as his interpretation is in opposition to you.

And he seems to be incapable of looking at multiple sources of data and drawing an independent conclusion. Instead he looks for a way to anoint his "expert" as the bestest expert of the experts.

It's not a failure to comprehend, it's a proclivity to comprehend in a fashion that fits a predetermined goal: create an argument from nothing, side track/avoid a particular argument, create a double standard that doesn't exist, create an opportunity to "be right," etc, etc, etc.

For example, I don't believe that Rob goes through life without comprehending that nicknames aren't always literal, but if he'll insist that he somehow knows 10s of millions of people were using a nickname literally and argue for pages about it.
