Current events discussion

I'm not sure I want Vance...definitely don't need an airhead that amazed by a garbage disposal either 🤣🤣🤣
The problem is who the Dems will put forth, Newsom & Sanders appear to be their most centrist/least extreme candidates. Say Newsom wins, has demonstrated anything other than complete incompetence? Even if Newsom were a centrist, conservative or libertarian, I wouldn't trust him to watch my dog, much less run a country. OTOH, Sanders is more competent, but do I really want a competent commi running the show? Unless Vance or some other GOP candidate is extremely flawed, I will (probably) have to hold my nose and vote GOP.

Sanders has been nothing but a party shill since he "stepped" aside Hillary...Newsome can't even run a state 🤣🤣🤣

But at the same time I think Vance will be more of same establishment bs...so there's no good choice to me 🤦

The best part of this exchange is everybody in the thread has owned leather products that got wet and didn't shrink including Always Right Rob, but he's going to argue leather shrinks anyway. It's a weird compulsion he has, zn u controllable need to argue, an uncontrollable need to be right. I'm 99.999% sure Rob (just like ghe rest of us) has some leather gloves that got exposed to way more 3ml of water and didn't shrink.
Again I ask you for your resume on how much time you spent in manufacturing leather products.
Again I ask how much time you spent running Aris Isotoner.
Again I ask how many times you have been an expert witness in a trial.

I do like how your personal anecdote becomes "science" that is contrary to hundreds if not thousands of years of real experience, though.
Kind of like Trump saying global temps are not rising, because he experienced a cold day once.

What other science can you disprove because you didn't experience something? I touched a 350 degree pan with my bare skin and somehow didn't get burned. I guess that means human skin is scorch-proof?
I ran a flame across a cotton/poly shirt once, and nothing happened. Cotton/poly must be fireproof, right?
The region I live in has had snow in every month except August. I suppose that means EVERY region has experienced it?

But, but, but...I'm "right"

I can't imagine why people are losing respect for the country. 🙄

Official White House post.
Like the country is run by a bunch of ******* low-IQ teenagers.

It says "to prevent shrinking".
If leather can't shrink, why would you have to practice "proper preservation" to prevent something that doesn't happen?

Is that like saying "this steel is fireproof, but be careful not to get it near fire"?

LOL, tell us about you stopped by leather gloves because they kept shrinking every time they got wet. It's not my anecdotal evidence you're ignoring, it's your own. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Interesting point. So you're assuming that Aris/Isotoner took no measures to prevent their flagship gloves from shrinking? But all the leather products the rest of us have bought over the years we're treated to prevent shrinking? <<<< not rhetorical
