100 day review of Trump

Immigration: Totally support Trump's “mass deportations.” Unfortunately, they aren’t as massive as say Obama’s deportation #’s despite having a much bigger target population of illegal immigrants to deport. OTOH, the courts, municipal govt’s, individual judges, etc didn’t fight Obama tooth and nail on his deportations. Odd how that plays out.

DOGE/Spending/Waste: Again, I totally support DOGE and personally think we should be thankful that Musk took on this project at great personal cost. Has the Executive overstepped its power at times – yes. Is it a Constitutional Crisis – no. Whether DOGE can or can’t actually stop the spending, the fact it’s getting exposed is what is important. Let the Dems fight to continue the spending and we’ll see what the voters decide.

LGBTQxyz Rights: We were told Trump’s election would result in a ***** Genocide. I've seen no evidence to support that claim. The only ***** rights I've seen them lose is the right for biological dudes to compete against biological women in sports. That may **** for a small # of people, but ultimately it's light years away from genocide.

Tariffs/Economy: Not sure where I fall here. I don't think blanket tariffs will work as a long term economic policy. OTOH, without the threat of tariffs, can the necessary change take place to bring jobs back to the US and tariffs are a useful political tool. Ultimately, I think that Trump needs Congress to pass legislation to "force" manufacturing back to the US. I think any number of approaches could work. Ie, companies can be tariffed on a sliding scale depending on what percent of their products are manufactured in the US. We can pass laws forcing tech companies to keep technology here (ie high end processors), etc.
