The question should be why it's loonie and unacceptable if the left does it, but acceptable and applauded when the right does it.
Wouldn't either question be acceptable?
Commit insurrection, get pardoned and paid for your time. Set a vehicle dealership on fire, go to jail for 20 years.
The difference between the two criminals: one voted for Trump.

I support lawfulness as opposed to lawlessness.
I also support keeping the playing field level. So we are forced to decide: Does each party operate under a completely different set of rules, or do they both operate under the same set of rules?

Which one should it be?
So you were cool with illegal immigration, criminals not having to meet a bond, decriminalization of theft and overall soft on crime policies because you knew when Trump got elected he was going to pardon silk road guy and J6'ers? But what if Joe Biden didn't get dementia or if Harris has pulled off the win?

Polis should let criminals use social media because Trump pardoned Silk Road guy because that's a an even playing field????:unsure::unsure:

Not a native to America so his ways of showing his heart goes out to you is not typical of how an American might do it. But you keep on truckin' looking for anything to use against people. You racist.
He does the Nazi salute multiple times, and I'M the racist?
Genuine comedy, right there.

You are a racist idiot.

I suppose history is there just to make Elon look bad.

In 1892 — in the run-up to the Chicago World’s Fair marking the 400th anniversary of Columbus arriving in America — Francis Bellamy, a Baptist minister’s son from upstate New York, wrote the Pledge of Allegiance, a version of which is recited by many American school children to this day.

Along with his boss, James Upton, Bellamy also came up with a salute to accompany the recital of the pledge: Stand up, hand on heart, then extend the right arm to salute the Stars and Stripes. It became known as the Bellamy salute.

Not to mention the meme that shows Kamala, Warren, AOC, Hilary, et al in the same pose as Elon. EDS is a real thing. People are literally vandalizing Teslas that belong to people who are probably liberal and bought the vehicle before DOGE was ever a thing. It's pure insanity.

They are brainless. It's not even sad anymore. I don't feel remotely sorry for liberals.

"Meme". Show me video of them doing the full Nazi salute, like Elon did.
Thump the chest, extend the arm with hand outstretched, palm down.

Sure, except it's a known phenomenon that the left is held to a different standard than the right. And it'd been going on for decades.

That's a weird mix of questions and a false dilemma.
But I'll ask this: Why am I expected to be upset about those things, if I am not supposed to be upset about the insurrectionists being pardoned and possibly getting paid for their time?

Is it because "orange man always good", or because what Dear Leader does is right, and should not be questioned or compared to anything else?

Silk Road guy should go free because Trump likes him, but Tesla arson guy should go to jail for 20 years because Trump doesn't?
Or, will trump pardon the Tesla arson guy soon after conviction?

You just cried that it was unfair to criticize Elon for doing what he did, because he is not native to America.

NOW you are saying he is copying the Bellamy Salute created by James Upham in 1892, that got replaced in 1942 by the US Congress with a hand-on-heart pose? Replaced because it was too similar the the Nazi salute.

So, Elon learned the Nazi salute when he was pledging allegiance in grade school in the US prior to 1942?
Must be a time traveler, like Erykah Badu. Or he looks REALLY young for his age.

No liar. We aren't talking about the first time it was ever said. This is a political thread and my post is in reference as such. Huddie's song was about ****, Erykah's is a political reference.
"WE" weren't. You DID.
"Originally" has significance when describing things. originally - "from or in the beginning; at first." and "in a novel and inventive way".
You tried to educate us on the origin (notice how that is part of the word "originally"?) of the use of "woke", but got it wrong. It went something like this: "It was originally a lyric in Erykah Badu's song "Master Teacher". The lyrics are "I stay woke" It worked its way through African American music into the hands of politicians."

Ledbtter's song was not about ****, it was about racial inequality.

Go do something useful like flush your brain down a toilet.
I could do that, and still know more than you portray yourself knowing.

Who said you shouldn't be upset about the J6 rioters being pardoned? Certainly not me.

You've posted about this before and I agree, absolutely insanity. The question becomes why is acceptable when it's Dems that "encourage" criminality? I don't recall anybody on the left criticizing the Dems for legalizing crime, not punishing crime, etc. Is it safe to say that you're as opposed to Gov Polis's veto as you are to Trump's pardon?
Same reaction here. Only two conclusions i could come up with is Ulbricht exchange underworld dealings and crypto or most likely had additional bitcoin stashed in some offshore wallet.
