They are really against eliminating waste in the system. It's just so strange. They want "me" to pay off student loans, fund new social programs, etc, etc, etc, but then they fight tooth and nail to prevent the Executive Branch from ensuring those funds are being spent effectively and not wasted. Make that make sense.

If they are watching the waste then those who would profit from the waste can't profit. It's like taking away their tax free side gig.

Appears that it came from other allies of Ukraine. So they have received $50 BILLION more help, and want to spend it here.
We should absolutely say "no" to $50 BILLION of military goods sales to Ukraine.

And I get why the people who are benefitting from the grift are opposed to DOGE or other cost cutting measures. For the life of me, I don't get why the rank and file libs/dems are opposed to cutting waste and/or increasing efficiency other than TDS/EDS.

This were the libs just confuse the F out of me. Elon Musk is by far the greenest industrialist on the planet and was one of the heros just a few short years ago. Then he comes out in favor of letting giving conservative voices a place to be heard (aka free speech) and gov't efficiency and he goes from hero to a member of the 1940's German National Socialist party. The left have been railing against beef for years now. Trump does something that should reduce beef production, but now the left is PO'd at Trump???

I wonder what the left's response would be if Trump reopened the border or forgave student loans or decided to keep pumping money into the Ukraine war? Would the left turn on the LGBTQxyz community if Trump joined the ***** movement?
