He said that in 2012 when the Dow was at 13,000, so a 1000 point drop would have represented ~8% of the market, compared to ~2.5% by today's standards.

Been a lot more than 3 days.
The Dow is falling, prices are climbing, our allies are shunning us, unemployment is climbing, and Trump is trying to be besties with Putin.

The stock market has been overvalued for a while, you just wait for something to trigger a correction - tariffs, a war, rate increases, etc. The last 1.5 years has made no sense. The S&P 500 went from 4k to 6k in 1.5 years for no particular reason with 2 major conflicts going on.
Based on p/e it’s a good time to buy. It used to be the safe place to put cash. Is it still?
