A "direct" quote is a verbatim quote Rob.
NO SHIT.
And it can be "a word, phrase, sentence, or entire passage"
1. Show us where I provided, offered, or inferred, any context for the quote in my signature.
2. Show us that the quote is not a verbatim quote from your original post.
3. Show us how it is a "misquote"
4. Show us that I changed the words inside the quotation marks from your original words.

"average is only useful for lazy people simplifying numbers or for nefarious means" -Thxone

You know why you might be considered "mind numbing"? Because you start acting like a child when you've lost an argument

Man you are dumb. A quote is a quote. Not the same is a "Direct" or "Verbatim" quote. A direct quote and verbatim quote are the same.

Still waiting on you to back up some of your propaganda...
Still waiting for you to show that the Court decision did not confirm Trump is a ******, or that the decision was changed or overturned.

Are you going to jump on the ThxOne bandwagon and say that my signature line misquoted him, and is not a verbatim quote of the post he screenshotted and pasted here?
Or are you at least smart enough to know how quotes are used in the English language (or smart enough to keep quiet if you DON'T know)?

His brain is labored right now. He is struggling with it being two kinds of quotes and he thinks they are the same.
Wait a minute. Two "kinds" of quotes?
Tell us about these two "kinds" of quotes.
Define each "kind", and give and example of each "kind".

Tell me what "kinds" of quotes I was using when I quote Othello, Apocalypse Now, and your posts.
He doesn't have to. There are two kinds of quotes. What you did is a regular quote. You are claiming it is a direct or "verbatim" quote which it is not. It has been explained to you with factual proof and definitions to which you have ignored because of ego.
A "regular" quote? As opposed to "irregular" quote?
Show me the definition of "regular quote" and the definition of whatever the OTHER "kind" is.

Give examples of each.
Tell me what "Kinds" mine were.

This is getting pretty ******* funny.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE!!!

Quote: average is only useful for lazy people simplifying numbers or for nefarious means
Verbatim quote: Your average is only useful for lazy people simplifying numbers or for nefarious means
1. Neither of those is even a quote without quotation marks. And you think you are going to school ME on how a quote works? Holy shit.
2. IF they were in quotation marks, they would BOTH be verbatim, because they are word-for-word copies of the words being quoted. NONE of the words or their positions have been altered. VERBATIM.

Verbatim does NOT mean ALL of the words you ever typed. It means the words in the quotes are exactly as they originally appeared.

Again: Show me the definitions of "regular quote" and of whatever the OTHER kind is.
Provide examples.
Tell me what "kinds" of quotes mine were.

Maybe this is why your offspring became an addict?

Just read the snopes article...they do a bang up job of breaking it down...the decision was for ****** abuse...and again being a civil matter the burden of proof is far lower...

So your ****** claim = propaganda...30k lies = propaganda...and this:

A straight lie because you can't factually back up TDS feelins...

What you posted about his quote is misleading. You left out a word that significantly changed the meaning of the quote. You are misquoting what he said, because you are using his words to misrepresent the intention of the usage of those words. What you are doing violates any standard academic integrity.
