Featured Have Chrysler P05091301AB radio (Head Unit)

I am having difficulties bench powering this radio. I am attempting to check it out. I ordered and received a plug from METRA and using their color code connections, this did not work. The wire colors in some cases were not there. Following several WEB diagrams did not produce results any different from METRA's. Has anyone had any experience with bench testing this radio? Are there some connections that are required and are not normally present on a bench lash-up such as the Communication Lines (I forgot the designations CAM or something like that). I can identify the pin numbers as indicated on other websites. Maybe this radio cannot be bench tested using normal means or the radio is defective.

OEMs have a nasty habit of coding their OEM radios to the car's VIN. You may need to get it unlocked.
