I don't know about that. The GOP platform for the past ~3 years has been stolen election. They pretend to be anti-immigrant, but keep in mind many political donors love the effect a large immigrant population has on wages. Little know fact, but Obama kicked Trump's arse when it came to deportation. Both parties make it really easy for me to "throw away" my vote on third parties year after year.

This is true, but there are limits. This was discussed many times about how to handle the immigration thing. It is too long and hard process do deport people. Especially when you have branches of law that don't want to work with you, and a media that likes to blow everything you do out of proportion. I appears Trump was advised of this and went after easier issues, while quietly working on this issue. Just like abortion. It has become so widely accepted that if anyone tried to get rid of it, it would start a war. This is another issue that Trump is backing away from.

Yeah, Denver & Aurora are starting to look like the Left coast. Lots of homelessness, law enforcement is lax, etc. I occasionally work at a medical campus not too far that area in Aurora. They don't puck around at the medical campus - lots of armed security. That said, that part of the city is where the crack houses used to be and the heroin dens prior to that, basically that's what passes for a ghetto in Denver/Metro area. I'm sure that's where you go to get fentanyl now. It be nice to see the Dem's pull their heads out of their butts regarding immigration and law enforcement. Reminds me I need to get my CCW.....

You just described all the major cities in California. Because Newsom was told to clean up the cities, he is now shipping the homeless all over to spread them out. Our city is getting bus loads everyday.

Newsom just signed a law to give up to $150k to illegals so they can use it as a down payment on a house. Do you think he's trying to buy votes?

Obama was able to deport illegals, as was Trump. It appears Obama was just willing to deport at a higher rate than Trump. If Trump wanted he could have bullied local law enforcement by threatening to pull Federal Funds. IMHO, Trump achieved the optics he wanted and his anti-immigration policies were politics not actually doing something about the illegal immigration problem.

Are you in Cali? They tried shipping the homeless out of Denver/Metro and the satellite cities responded with laws, ordnances, etc declaring they were not "sanctuary cities."

Newsom is nuts. Does he think California has it's own currency that it can print???

We have an explosion out of state homeless people, I mean who would wanna one way ticket to a sandy on hawaii? Cali doesn’t wanna solve homelessness it creates jobs for donors and nonprofit sector. Bigger the operation, bigger the salaries. The left are so concerned with humanity, housing and treatment centers but they don’t want it in their back yard. Lots of homeless don’t want to deal with rules of the shelters and rather be collecting money and be free.

Obama did it, but it wasn't widely televised and reported. If trump did it, there would be reports of him separating families and being racist. Remember what happened with the whole thing about them calling Trump in-humane for putting kids in cages? That's the same thing that has been going on way before Trump. They show picture of kids in cages, that were taken during Obama's era, and claim they were taken while Trump was in office. In reality, Trump was arranging better conditions for the children, but they wouldn't report on that.

In other words, anything a dem does, is pure goodness. Anything Trump does, gets blown up and actions from the devil. Trump can't afford too keep giving people something to scream about.

So now they think they can just hitch a ride on a school bus. This shows how much they are told how acceptable their actions are. they aren't afraid anymore.

We have busses right around the corner from where I work in Cincinnati. They are being brought in full of people and they have been lining them up and checking bracelets on them. There are 6 official looking cars parked near where they keep bringing these busses and it's the same people talking to the passengers. Been going on for about two weeks now before 7am. If they are there Tuesday I am gonna snap a pic or two.
