Trump being Trump

Can you please tell me how Russia is our enemy instead of calling me silly for not knowing? Ukraine is not our ally. I admire Russia patriotism.
You can admire Russian patriotism all you want, that doesn't mean we're not enemies. Seriously you want me go over 100 years of history regarding why Russia is our enemy? I'm not trying to be insulting, but we've been pointing nuclear weapons at each other for the better part of the last century. Cuban missile crisis. Russia's relationship with Iran (maybe you don't think Iran is our enemy either?). Nato v USSR/Russia. Cold war. Russian involvement in Vietnam. Anywhere on the globe where America has enemies, you can count on Russia supporting them (and vice versa). Russia's support of the Bashar al-Assad regime. Russia's press secretary recently made our "enemy" status official. To flip this, can somebody please tell me how Russia isn't our enemy?

And how is Ukraine not our ally - we're sending them military and financial aid to fight a war, by definition that makes us allies.

Ukraine is such our ally that they're putting American journalists on basically hit lists, where Ukraine is accusing Americans of working with Russia, and it's a large list. Do you support Ukraine potentially targeting American journalists who are pro-American?:

"The list also includes dozens of sitting American politicians, like Senators J.D. Vance (R-OH), Rand Paul (R-KY), Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Josh Hawley (R-MO), Eric Schmitt (R-MO), as well as the former President Donald Trump, Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis, and Representatives Bob Good (R-VA), Jim Jordan (R-OH), and Jim Banks (R-IN)."

So, do you support Ukraine targeting Americans who don't support their war?

Do I support Ukraine's right to call out Americans (or non-Americans) that don't support their war effort? 100% Do I support assassination of journalist and American politicians - absolutely not. Tim isn't always bad, but I call this an extreme stretching and distortion of reality. Are you as critical of Putin actually assassinating political opponents as you are of these baseless allegations?

I'm concerned with US taxpayer money and military effort being used against the American people.

I am concerned too, but I'm 99.99999% sure that the Ukraine isn't going assassinate talking heads and congresscritters for not supporting them. The last time the west let a tyrant try to reassemble his broken empire WW2 broke out. Appeasement doesn't work. OTOH, I do believe we can bleed Russia to the point where this war is no longer tenable; unfortunately, I don't think either of the idiots that will be in the WH come 2025 is the man to do it. Biden (or whoever does the actual negotiations on his behalf) totally blew the petrodollar negotiations completely out their arses. So I definitely don't trust the current administration to negotiate with Putin. OTOH, I think Trump will greenlight Russian against the Ukraine, which has all sorts of negative implications and at best will weaken if not destroy NATO. The petrodollar blunder is already costing us and will cost us for the foreseeable future, compounding that with the destruction of NATO will make the inflation we're seeing now look like a blip on the radar compared to what will happen when Europe is no longer motivated to keep backing the USD. A good 50 years of poor leadership has put us in a pretty crappy situation.

Except where none of this extra and increasing war happened under trump, so the deep state stole the election and started ww3 to maintain control over this nation and the overall west.

Get real. There is no ww3. Palestine and Israel have been in a permanent state of war since before you and I were born.

I am real. There's a ton of war all over the world. I feel stupid for even typing anything in reply to you, because you act like Israel and Palestine are the only things being talked about or the only ones at war? How stupid is that with all the different things I post?

I mean our own military expects China to go into Taiwan soon, like in the next few years, maybe really soon. Go back to sheep, Jim. Go take some more vaccines so you can pretend like you're helping.

Federal/military coup:

"The employee’s security clearance was subsequently revoked, Just the News reported, noting that the interviews “confirmed his support for Trump and gun rights and his concerns about the COVID vaccine.”

"China is in the midst of a “significant” expansion of its nuclear capabilities and may have as many intercontinental ballistic missiles as the United States or Russia by 2030, according to a new global analysis of nuclear weapons."

"In a recent interview, Elon Musk warned that those who wish to see humanity thrive are in a fight against those with an “extinctionist” philosophy, environmental extremists who see humans as a “plague on the Earth.”"

How old are you? China has been threatening Taiwan since the 50s. There is always conflict scattered across the globe. Even when conflict dies down, it's just gone underground until new groups/conflicts emerge or as powers equip themselves for the next offensive. Just because you post a link to various conflicts daily doesn't mean ww3 is on the horizon.

It's not even the lobbying. Basically the private sector can spy on us without triggering our constitutional rights and protections that would be triggered if it were say the FBI engaging in such behaviors. It's a very effective relationship for both parties.

My age has nothing to do with world events.

Oh yeah, just because almost the whole world is at war doesn't mean it's a world war, because that makes sense.

It's 2024 with AI and thousands of nukes everywhere and bioweapons and the internet and space forces and genetic technologies. Not remotely close to the same type of warfare we have ever faced globally. Most of the war we face is over the minds of humanity. Will people be lead to their own doom? Probably. Most people don't even understand what world war looks like with modern tech or how modern warfare works. This war is not going to look like WW2. I guess whenever the TV says it's war then it'll be officially war, right? Lol.

Ukraine is not an ally. Too many countries enjoy a one-sided relationship with America.

Past conflicts do not represent current relations. Heard of Germany? Japan? England? North/south?

I referenced your age because China v Taiwan has been going on your entire lifetime, yet "today" you think it's the sign of the apocalypse. OTOH, you see doom around every corner and under every rock. Paranoia, the destroyer....

How is Ukraine not an ally? They perfectly fit the description of an ally. The budapest agreement, trilateral agreement, we just signed a 10 year bilateral security agreement. Just because you don't like that they are an ally, doesn't mean the Ukraine isn't an ally anymore than when some pink haired soy boy tells me he's girl that he ceases to be a "man." I have liberals telling me they can't define a women and men can breast feed and now neo-cons are claiming allies aren't allies and our enemies aren't our enemies???

You are right, past conflicts do not represent current relations. Can you name a single thing Russia does currently or has done in the past 7 years that makes them an ally? Almost everywhere on the globe where the US exerts political influence Russia attempts to foil us. Russia's relationship with Iran is troubling. Russia consistently aligns itself with US enemies. Russia interferes with our elections. Russia doesn't respect international borders. Russia attacked a country (Ukraine) that we had a security pact with (twice now).
