Jimi it is greed plain and simple on the oil companies and gas stations. My family has been in oil for decades. Last oil refinery built was in 1976 in Elwood, IL by Mobil Oil. People want to claim it is EPA for the reason that no new ones have been built that is absolute BS. They don't want more refineries built. They want oil prices as high as possible. They are raking in billions upon billions in profit each quarter. They get billions in tax credits from the US every year for the past few decades. Dad built the last one and retired from it after 25+ years, my cousin in Louisiana has owned oil wells in TX and LA for decades, my friends & family still work at refineries. They do this because they can get away with it and they know no one will stop them no one! Even when oil barrels were 30-40 dollars they are still charging 3 dollars+ for a gallon of gas in the last 10-15 years when the prices dropped on oil. The oil companies freaked out big time as they want those prices at least 80 dollars these days. They make a ton of money on each barrel of oil. It just isn't gas they get from it the by-products they get are a lot. Coke being one of them. A barge of Coke back in 2001 was worth anywhere from 8-16 million dollars and since then it has gone up. Elwood, IL Mobil is one of the few that makes it for that reason. You get 42 gallons of gas from a barrel of oil. There isn't one reason for gas prices to be where they are at other then greed right now.
Show us your analysis, and point out the trend on the price charts.
Than, tell us:
WHO is controlling the trends, since it is not supply/demand, market speculation, supply chain issues.
WHY is this secret person or persons porpoising the prices.
HOW they are porpoising the prices.
Explain it for the entire product cycle of gas, from oil extraction, to putting it in your tank of your car.
Afraid that's not how healthcare works in the US.
You should try to get your info from legit sources instead of memes.

I never claimed to know who is behind it. I just know it is happening and it isn't anything to do with your charts. How about you tell us why when we observe something happen you demand to know who, what or why from us or it didn't happen. Two people have commented to this trend now. You going to call coolhand a liar too?
If you "know" that it is not caused by the forces that have been known and accepted for hundreds of years to affect the price of something, then you must know what the cause IS.
If you claim you don't know what the cause IS, then you can't possibly "know" that it's not the forces that have been known and accepted for hundreds of years.
So far, you haven't been able to point out the trend you "analyzed" on a simple price chart, and you haven't been able to tell us the who/why/how of your claim that it's not the accepted reasons that cause the porpoising.
Yet I'll bet you believe you are 100% right.
