The hitch is that the study has a major flaw: “The generalisability of our results might be affected by the demographics of the participants in the MIS BAIR randomised-control trial from which participants were drawn; for example, a large proportion had a family history of allergic and atopic disease.”
It was a very small study to begin with, and a large proportion of the kids have a family history? That’s a non-starter as a source of data.
