Just look at the cdc numbers yourself. The majority of deaths are from people with preexisting conditions and are 65 and older. 50-64 years old the number 200k, 49 and under the total number is 78k. Forget about pre existing conditions. In my age group I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning then dying of covid lol. Yes I read the CFR and IFR data, I did not get an epiphany

If we are limiting ourselves to the USA, the odds of a US citizen getting hit by lighting in any given year are .0001% The odds of a 40 y.o. male dying from COVID are 0.2%
I get what you are tryin to say, but lightning is probably not the best example to use, when COVID is 2,000 time more likely to kill you than your odds to be struck by lightning in a year.
