You literally just responded with rhetoric to me accusing you of rhetoric. I just can’t do this thread. That sounds like a million other Facebook posts from other smart people who dumb themselves down to play team politics. Like I said. You might be right, but It’s by accident. It’s not because you have any in depth knowledge of what’s actually in these bills
I'm right because that is what is in the bills. Nobody has ever disputed what's in the bills from DeSantis and his supporters to the right leaning media outlets to the left leaning outlets - there is 100% concensus on what is in these bills.

The "don't say gay" bill is to cut off ****** material being taught to k-3 grade...

Touching a child sexually is illegal. You can go to prison for a long time. Indecent liberties with a minor is also illegal. You can go to prison for a long time. *** with a minor child is illegal. You can go to prison for a long time. So explain to me, anyone, why we need to have anything sexually deviant around our kids? Why is this even being debated??? If you are a grown adult and you think of ****** things and you are thinking of kids, you need to have your asss hung, drawn and quartered. If you defend the sexualization of kids you can line up for the rack too.

To sort of to cut off ****** material being introduced to k-3, which I doubt is a big issue. Nevertheless, I think just about everybody can agree we don't need ******/gender identity material in k-3. In my school district *** ed begins in 5th grade, which strikes me as good timing. But they also put in that ambiguous part about not teaching gender identity/****** material "in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards." And then they don't lay out what is or isn't appropriate and when it is or isn't appropriate. IMHO, the bill isn't at all about saving the 3rd graders from *** ed - it's just one of many bills DeSantis pushed to "prove" he's the culture wars warrior that the GOP needs.

It’s not ***-ed. It’s teaching children that they are not subhuman or defective if their brain works differently than other kids.

It’s shown to reduce *******-related deaths in people who struggle with our fvcked-up society that thinks it knows what your brain should be doing, based on whether you have a penis, vagin@, both, or neither.

The fact that “vagin@“ is censored here shows just how childish our society is, FFS.

I think it's more of defective adults teaching kids who's brains aren't even close to fully developed with teachings that most likely will skew their natural, biological/****** development. They are in school because they are blank slates and they are their to learn about the world and how to live in it. They don't need to be taught about sexuality as theirs WILL develop naturally and biologically on its own. All this is doing is grooming more future defective adults.

Even with the somewhat vague language...the whole hyperbole of calling it a "don't say gay" bill is just spin...
