If you cover your sneeze or cough, you do it to prevent sharing your sickness. If you do that but think a mask is ineffective, your logic is really flawed.

Hmmm, covering your face for a highly contagious airborne disease that was wiping people out at an alarming rate, versus covering your face for a pretty benign airborne disease that might make you uncomfortable for a few days.

Like I said to Thxone, we were discussing efficacy of masks, not whether you wore one or in your case whether we have rights.

The point isn't rights, but rather effectiveness & why one would choose not wear a mask. The anti-mask crowd put forth crazy arguments from masks don't work to masks kill you to masks are just the first step in a fascist take over the country. And then we had the anti-mask freakouts, which were entertaining.

It seems fair to ask for some fact based evidence as to why masks should have been optional. CDC, et al put forth facts & data supporting masks mandates, should the anti-mask crowd be exempted for some reason.

Honestly my personal choice wasn't based on anything other than I didn't want to wear one...and I was willing to accept the risk...

We aren’t discussing if you wore one or not.
We’re discussing the efficacy of them and whether a scientific study on a large scale carries more weight than an Op/Ed piece in confirming said efficacy.

You say you question everything, so it would be safe to assume you don’t accept the large scale study or the Op/Ed.
What results did you come up with in doing your own investigation?

The only thing I think mask were effective at was allowing me to keep my jobs. The mask, both paper and cloth, did not work and I still caught COVID. Twice. Both times while wearing mandated mask at work. Do I need a study to tell me they work when I have real world experience through the use of mask that states otherwise? No. The mask did not work. Will you now try to say I am just one person so my unique view of it does not count from such a small sample size. Tell me... if the sample sizes (number of people in the studies) are much larger, does that somehow change the size of the holes in the material of the mask?

No, you did not. You said “Not all vaccines are required or mandated for schools” and gave a link to a page that lists vaccines.
Each vaccine listed has a link to find out which states require it.
That does not answer the question. It makes me go look for an answer that may or may not exist.

If you want to claim you are answering a question, then answer the question.
Tell me the state/s that do not require any vaccinations of kids going to public school.

I don't like to cover a cough or sneeze because I want liberals to freak out and cower in fear of the little germs flying at them at break neck speeds. The little orange germs.... the Ultra MAGA Germs!!!!

I know someone who died with a seatbelt on. Obviously, that proves that seatbelts are ineffective in keeping people from dying in a car accident.

I also took Tylenol and my headache didn’t go away. Obviously, Tylenol is a big scam created to control us.

There was a stem in my can of green beans. That tells me they don’t remove stems from green beans before canning them.

How would I know it contains the info. that proves your feelings? Did you quote the proof? Did you link to the proof?
