About Johnathan Price

If you used the hi level inputs it's possible your getting noise from it somewhere. Do you have the crossover on your amp tuned on to eliminate high freq response from the subs?
Heres a clue, in the setup this was in, it was a previous car. And on the drivers side some of the newly installed wiring "caused" a bulge which bumped the top trim near the window. I thought it was due to the side mirror joystick being in the way, but turns out that was entirely unnecessary. Its possible the first guys just ran out of wire and cobbled something together. Or something else happened.

Strangely, on the second install which is where everything went wrong and I was half robbed, the installers used a audio control lci7 to go from stock head unit to amplifiers....and they heard something off THEN, and disconnected the subs from the LCi7 and the subs still moved. A fraction of amount but it happened. It didn't exactly play higher frequencies it it played to the rhythm of them.

Having discussions with others irl, I think what happened is that the first installers didn't use a power filter? if I am using that term right when they ran the wire to the amplifier from tapping into either the head unit or door speakers for the signal. So the amp and thus sub may have been drawing a small amount of power from the speaker signal.

Then a deinstall happened. Thats when I believe when things were reconnected to the headunit something got switched. Then a 3rd install happened(And my dumbass thought the bass knob had been left in because I took it for granted....) and thats when I noticed the difference in my own car. I thought it was just a head unit difference but there was a clear other issue at play and it was silent like the guys who were demoing their builds for me....well honestly they were just testing their stuff to show off at their shop and I was a willing audience.

I suspect this is the case because the first install looked like just three wires going in, L/R and power and I never saw a filter type thing which fits in the palm of your hand. I suspect that blocks some of the signal as well.

But I actually liked that effect and was ignorant of port noise until the final install. I also fucked around messing with the Headunit EQ and PowerAmp's( a phone app) eq to fine tune things. The original car had a Ford sync type head unit, 2016 year.

It sounds like the X-over is set too low. When the sub is very musical, I set the low pass at 80 Hertz and below. When the sub is a boomer/mumbler, I set the low pass up to 120 Hertz or until it blends better with the front stage.
I set the LPF all the way up on the amp and the behavior was still present, it just produced a wider variety of tones.

Wrong thread?
From reading the post, it is hard to determine how many processors you have on at the moment. Try turning all off except the one with the most features.
I have *nothing* on at the moment. I have a new car. And I should have had it examined by a 3rd party before I started bullshitting around that way I new what was going on with the first build. My other option is to return to that installer. But there are issues with that.

Yeah I remember, I been around long as you.
Sorry for making your butt hurt so bad, It should feel better in a few days WEEEEEEE!
So he just forgot to quote.

vbulletin and xenforo and bbs style forums are old and dying. Its sad. However, most people who participate in them at all anymore have a good idea of what it takes to get to 1k posts. And 10k posts. Ive seen accounts on others forums with 40k, 80k and on one occasion 100k+ posts. It was the first thing that suggested to me that some people who claim to have jobs spend more time and effort for online chitter chatter than there supposed jobs. Even with high wpm. I later learned that there were actual jobs of just posting on various fora.

Even with drivebye high speed shitposting for hours and hours it can take a week to get 1k. Its takes years and a significant amount of effort to hit 10k posts. I remember seeing a join date of March 2005 and thinking "wow. that guy joined two months ago". but 2007 was 16 years ago. I think Facebook had just started and Myspace was still a thing.

One of the funniest threads I have ever read involved a guy calling everyone on a 3d modeling website a nerd and tens of pages later thread got locked and op banned. After uploading 3d models himself. And trying to be part of the group. If you immediately know which website and thread I refer to, grats, dont spoil it.

Point is, at tens of thousands of posts a ******* decade and a half later, and still logging on? Really? Its like a drunk laying in his own piss telling someone to go drink at home.

Most of them wouldn't say anything. And 16 and up they likely wouldn't bother....unless they were bragging.

In which case, something concrete should be available. 18 and up and they are only technically teenagers.

Tell that to the Girls Gone Wild guy. Tell that to Epstein. Tell that to anybody who targets a bunch of little girls. Do you really believe this crap? Please name a ********* that all of a sudden quits targeting underage girls? From what I've heard ********** don't just quit. People just like hating on successful people.

If he makes 10 million a year? Yeah I think he could get away with some $hit..

Some of the most sick bastards in this country are millionaires.

No I don't have proof he did anything, just like you have no proof he didn't..
But I do know anytime someone has anything to say about the guy you're the first one here to say how great he is and could never do such a thing.

Because I have talked to some of his closest friends about this BS. The whole truck incident that people like to bring up they fail to mention that he wasn't in or driving that truck. Somebody else was driving his truck. And he wasn't making anywhere near $10 million a year back then. He was sleeping on the floor of hotel rooms because he couldn't afford to rent a room. People throw allegations out there with zero proof. Keep hating
