Not for lack of trying...even though there wasn't a true mandate in place...not just the fed govt but lots of local jurisdictions wanted to order mandates...

You can't be reliant on courts to fix stupid anymore...judges are just people with their own bias...good judges can set those aside...but not everyone is good at what they do...and way too many judges at every level only hold their seat because of political leaning...

The mandates strike me more as quasi-mandates. My anti-vax friends has no issues getting exemptions. I'm sure with the invigorated anti-vax movement, they have effective ways to avoiding vaxes.
