SMD forums have periodic postings. I stop by once in a while and there's a few new posts.

But it is light traffic.

I posted my previous build there but havent been on it a few years. I don't use FB so I either post here or IG. Diyma is still pretty busy but ist's pretty sq centric and only a few people color out side the lines. edit: tons of great info over there though.

See, I like Steve and his content since he started the beginning of YouTube, always seemed like a decent guy to me having fun with audio gear like many of us, but I did not like the forums. I haven’t been on the SMD forum in probably 12-13 years.

I liked the CACO forums, sad that one changed hands a few times and was basically dead last time I checked there. I hate the layout they have now.

I’ll say I never liked having tons of accounts, so did not even sign up to most of the forums, hence being a fairly new member here, I mean I browsed for many years, just never signed up.

I won’t join any groups like the Facebook crap, so I’ll never use any of that. I don’t even really mess with car audio / audio gear anymore, so I don’t browse any of it very often anyway.

Yeah I have talked to Steve Meade. He is a little cocky. He is definitely not a Budget build kind of guy.

There are some informative threads over there but I don't think the board is terribly active, from what I've seen there was just too much snobbery and fanboyism.

@Goob; What would it take to make this the forums of old. Where sponsors want to spend money and advertise here. Do we need more active moderators?
