I have been gone from car audio for a good 10 years and recently decided to get back into it. As I'm building my first new system I noticed almost all new amps have double outputs now... my question is, can I just ignore 1 set of them if I'm using a mono Amp for 2 subs? I'm trying to do a...

What I said holds true as his amp was essentially low-grade stuff, and I think you said the same about it.

If it's the terminal block that makes the number of outputs as you and Thx believe, then the mono amp behind that terminal block is irrelevant, no?
Or is it the "internal bridging" that is the real crux of it?

That’s called “parallel wiring”.
“Bridging” in regards to a multichannel amplifier is as far from parallel wiring as you can get.

Do you think the terms are the same?
