access-
obtain, examine, or retrieve (data or a file).
obtain-
get, acquire, or secure (something).

Your words: “he shouldn’t have taken them to begin with”. Are you saying he took them without accessing them?

That would be quite an achievement.
Dumbass.

BTW - Are you going to explain why you defend Trump yet vilify Biden for seemingly similar infractions?
Keep on being a dipshit. Act like you don't know what I meant. Keep arguing. Diick eater.

Yes he access, but access and taking are 2 different things. Biden should have access as it's part of his job. He shouldn't have taken the classified docs that he had access to.

I know exactly what you meant. You thought you were going to show how you “got” me when I used a word different from yours.

Where you fell short yet again was in not knowing the meanings of words well enough to be successful.

You tried. Maybe.

That I cannot comment on.
What are the rules of obtaining, accessing, transporting, storing classified docs by someone with the proper clearance level?

I'll said it before and I'll say it again...What Oil Companies report publicly vs to their employees are two totally different things. We still get the numbers from Mobil Oil every year even with dad retired as that is something they do. We always laugh at what they say publicly vs the real numbers reported to employees and what not. And no nothing will ever be done about it.

How do they keep the employees from spilling the beans? People blab about stuff even when they sign NDAs.

Hell if I know all I can say is the real numbers vs publicly are always different. After 25+ years of him being there I got to expect them saying one thing publicly and then saying the truth behind closed doors.

I will say Mobil Oil has always been good to their employees at least before that sh!t company Exxon took them over. Mobil Oil was about preventive maintenance, replace before the hour limits, replace regardless if it was in spec if it had been used since the last turn-a-round. Mobil Oil in Elwood, IL where he worked was the first STAR Oil Refinery in History in the US. Within a year of Exxon taking it over they had lost it. Exxon is crooked we all know that.

TBH, I'm pretty rusty. I am sure Classified docs shouldn't be stored in a box on the garage. You could transport under lock and key (a locked trunk would generally suffice). You had to store material properly in a restricted area. Depending on the material For example, I worked on military radar and had to study the schematics, manuals, etc. Taking that classified material back to my dorm room study was not an option.
