So you think a sitting POTUS has less security than an ex-POTUS.
What is your reasoning behind that? Is it just a feeling, or can you provide facts?

Technically, he didn't compare a POTUS to a former POTUS. Thx compared Mar-a-Lago to Biden's Wilmington residence. I don't know how secret service works, so maybe they don't sit on the POTUS's home/s, but I would think they probably do to prevent somebody from planting a bomb, planting listening devices, etc. OTOH, securing an entire vacation resort is quite the task. Keep in mind at one point the US gov't actually owned Mar-a-Lago and returned it to the Post family due to the difficulties with security. This isn't just a house somewhere, this is a hotel/resort/club that hosts balls, galas, weddings, etc. It's a business. This is how Trump is able to live on the premises while deducting all his expenses on his taxes. Mar-a-Lago is a security nightmare.

Nevertheless, no classified docs are alleged to have been missing from either location, so I guess they were both equally secure enough.

Interesting case. Is refusing service to "protected groups" going to be allowed by the first amendment? Seems like a stretch to me. Will this work both ways; ie can an LGBTQxyz business owner, refuse to do business with Christians and cisgender people? Furthermore, how can the public know what businesses might refuse them. Ie what if some Lesbians on a road trip find themselves in the middle of nowhere in the need of gas and the (presumably) Christian gas station owner doesn't want to do business with Lesbians (or vice a versa).

What if it isn't the business owner, but just an individual who wants to express his/her religious beliefs? In my neck of the woods a lot of gas station owners and attendants are Middle Eastern and presumably alot would be Islamic. We know Islam looks down on homosexuality, miniskirts, etc? What if I own an LGBTQxyz business and I hire a Christian and he decides he doesn't want to serve LGBTQxyz folks? Firing somebody over their religious beliefs is a good way to get sued.

Additionally, I could see this leading to LGBTQxyz movement establishing a religion in an attempt to protect themselves. Or what if an ***** person already belongs to a church that accepts LGBTQxyz people?

What if I hug my buddy and get mistaken for ghey and refused service? Do I have legal recourse? Do I have to somehow prove that I'm not a closeted gay man to get service because I wore a pink shirt into a religious person's business?

Clarence Thomas has already expressed his desire to strip homosexuals of their rights, so I suspect this case has already been decided before arguments begin.

the sad thing is the ultimate end game is price the common folk out. And normalize plant base diet taught in curriculum and only choice in public school lunches. Give it a generation or two it will be the new norm.

So you think unequivocally a resort has better security than Biden's house? I'd have to assume they have a couple secret service guys watching Biden's house. A resort has guests, staff, probably a lot non-citizen staff, poll boys, cleaning ladies, building engineers, etc, etc, etc. Weddings and other large scale events are held there. Mar-a-Lago would be a security nightmare. Not that I think Wilmington is Fort Knox, but it hardly has the exposure that Mar-a-Lago has. But hey, I know you wouldn't make such a claim if you didn't know first hand.

Or maybe you're just misusing the term security. Security doesn't mean the size the security staff. Security is "the state of being free from threat or danger."

There is ALSO a resort there. But I made my point.

It's also how we paid him to stay at his own property. Each Secret Service member gets a room paid for by the US Gov't to Trump.
But, emoluments did not concern the GOP in any way. If Biden did it, the GOP would be all over that like flies on shit.
