When a car audio forum is overrun with nothing but arguing politics.

People quit posting builds a long time ago. I've posted three complete builds in the last three years. I also still compete and have yet to see other people posting their competition scores or pictures of other builds, and their scores. I haven't seen you posting any builds, competitions, or pictures of other people's builds. Just a lot of goats.

The vaccine doesn’t stop transmission, yet liberals went on a moral campaign claiming nonvaccinated people were literally killing people, which is complete nonsense. All of these neocon “stances“ that are easy to disprove wouldn’t even exist in the first place if people weren’t forced to defend their own bodies against passive aggressive morons who like to look moral on the internet. Do you really care if people don’t get vaccinated at this point?

I don't care if people get vaxxed or boosted. The booster rate is ~25% and probably won't exceed ~35%, so apparently alot of people don't care anymore. But that doesn't mean I'm going to (or that we should) ignore dis/misinformation. Look at the dis/misinformation campaign conducted regarding BLM; led to rioting, deaths, increased crime rates, lack of respect for law/ law enforcement, shrinking police forces, etc. We'll be paying the price for that for years. Trump's lies about the "stolen election" led to the Jan 6th riots a dead officer and 100s of people in jail. TrumpCo's disinformation campaign about the stolen election has led to the GOP completely abandoning it's platform this last election cycle and I suspect will dominate the next election cycle.

I really don't care if people disagree with me, as long it's based in facts. Or at least be honest and admit you believe in conspiracy theories. Be honest that you're too "busy" to confirm what the BS pundits fed us. One of my best friends is a conspiracy theory junkie, but when he claims there were crisis actors at Sandy Hook, etc, he acknowledges it's conspiracy theories based on "what he believes about them. The fact that conspiracy theories have taken hold of a entire political party in a 2 party system is scary to me. And TBH, the Dems are only slightly better. This conspiracy theory nonsense that somehow the liberals are hiding the fact is BS and demonstrates either stupidity or intellectual laziness. If there is one thing I believe above all others, it's that stupid people and intellectually lazy people (especially in mass) are dangerous.

The history channel is all day every day conspiracy and hypotheticals. A lot of what makes us intelligent is based on skepticism to begin with. You take the hyperbole way too seriously and assume far too much about people based on what you see online. If you really want to break things down, all you really know is what you found online anyway, which leads us to the conspiracy on the control of information on social media and search platforms. Democrats used to believe in half the conspiracies they’re fighting against. That’s the comical side.of the whole narrative.

There's why I no longer watch the History Channel; crazy content given the name of the channel. Skepticism is useful, but when you draw conclusions on what you suspect or more accurately what others tell you to suspect, you armed people kicking in the doors a pizza joint looking for something that never existed. The problem with skepticism (today?) is it isn't all rooted at all intellectual, it's based on how can I blame the other guys, how can "we" make the other guys look bad, how can "we" discredit, divide, sow distrust, etc. There is currently a political party that's platform is more conspiracy than fact and that's a major problem.

People saying stuff and then saying, "I didn't say that." Really? Here is your post. Then the back pedaling begins. Well this, and well that, if you didn't mean what you typed then don't type it. Enough said. GTFOH! Own it! You just fukking typed it.

nothing has changed. People have always been idiots. Maybe we should stick them all in Gulags so that democrats don’t have to intellectually argue for their ideas at all? now your trying to decide on what level of skepticism is ok? Maybe we should also ban the history channel. They are spreading dangerous misinformation after all…….

I never said anything about throwing people in gulags because they're "too skeptical." Furthermore, I"ve not given the Dems a pass for the BS machine (ie, calling riots insurrections and the propaganda that lead to the BLM riots). It's odd that you would think that I want to toss people in gulags for "right wing skepticism;" is that because you want to throw "left wing skeptics" in the gulag or is it because you just assume anybody that isn't in lockstep with the GOP is the worst kind of fascist?

I'm to take my opportunities to point out BS when I see it. We all should point out how full of BS "they" are. That's why I oppose deplatforming and creating virtual echo chambers. But instead we've got the left trying to insulate "us" from misinformation. The right has become to lazy to even bother countering liberal misinformation with facts.

I'd say skepticism highly understates what I'm talking about. Rachel Maddow went on TV and said you get vaxxed, you don't get sick, you don't infect others like the vax was some sort of magical shield. OTOH, we have people claiming the vax kills kids and triples the rate of miscarriages. That's not skepticism, it's disinformation and misinformation and should be called out.

What pisses me off.... Non-stop whining. Seriously Asian Americans who are doing so well in America all bent out of shape because some professor spoke in mangled Chinese(?) at a speech? Oh my god! Get over it. It wasn't like he was attempting to insult the Asian community. So sick of fake outrage.

But you just did so well at it.
