I've said it before, but it's genuinely scary at times to see so many people who are so disconnected from reality.
I have family like that. Talking to them is like entering an alternate universe. Complete disregard for facts. Literally have heard that economic stats from the past are all bullshit, fabricated by the Democrats.
I can do little more than shake my head. Trying to get them to see the truth is like teaching a pig to fly.

This is where conspiracy theories are a little scary. "They" honestly believe "we" are conspiring against them and any facts to the contrary are just part of some vast conspiracy against the right.
