What annoys the ***** outta you/pisses you off...

Lol
She broke their laws. Whats so difficult to understand about that. The liberals made her a fykin martyr for it.

A buddy of mine got locked in a Mexican jail for 3 years when he was only 16. Literally held hostage during a robbery and when the federalies finally shot up the place and some of the cartel guys surrendered everyone got rounded up. We stopped partying in Mexico for a while after that.

She spent a few months in jail after breaking their laws my buddy is still mental after all these years for being a hostage. Sorry I don't have a lot of sympathy for her.

But back to the original question;

Is trading the Mechant of Death for a basketball player a wise deal?
If you think that was a great swap I have some custom high output 10,000watt Boss Audio amps for trade.

According to the NY Times both were offered but for whatever reason the WH only wanted Griener. View attachment 45485

Whelan wasn't offered in this trade. Whelan could've been home already but your boy Trump didn't give two fukks about him. Look it up.

Well, here's another dog that has roamed up to my house because someone abandoned it. C'mon people. While deployed to hostile areas I saw many pets pay the price. When some heartless and irresponsible owner does this, it always brings those memories flooding back in.
That's sad. I saw that down on the border, we lived on the out skirts and people did that crap constantly. Literally, the shelter will take them and FB groups will let you give them away for free.
It boggles me that viable options exist and people still dump their pets.

So, admittedly Trump was unwilling to release an international arms dealer for Whelan. He apparently did not see it as a viable trade but you are still dodging the question. I am not pleased that it didn't occur but we can't go back in time to change Trumps mind can we?

Question still begging to be answered;

Was a basketball player a good trade for the Merchant of Death? I say no, it was a horrible trade.

NY times says both were offered Biden should have take both.

The one person Russia would take for Whelan was a Russian Spy in German Custody and they refused to release him which is their prerogative as it should be. They tried Bout for both Whelan and Griner according to multiple reports from news services but Russia refused without that Spy. I wouldn't trust anything Russia says about they would include Whelan .He should be home just like Griner. Not a fan of the trade but getting home any Americans in Russian custody should be a priority. Either way no one was going to be happy with whatever deal happened. If it was Whelan that side would be p!ssed if it was Griner the other side would be p1ssed. It was a no win scenario for the administration.

Agreed, attempts to bring all home should be a priority but she's no hero by any stretch.

Dozens of Americans are locked up abroad with little fanfare but her celebrated status granted her privilege.

We traded a basketball player for an arms dealer whose deals benefited genocides in several countries. Bout has filed to join Russian parliament and is willing to fight against Ukraine. The US got the raw end of the deal.

This created low hanging fruit, no longer do advisories have to target high ranking US officials they can nab people worshiped by the masses. If I wanted to make a statement I'd grab celebs. Precedence has been set.

Why in the World would Biden turn down bringing Whelan home? Ask yourself that. Come on man. How does the NY Times know what was offered? Now your boy Trump says he would get Whelan home. I guess he cares about our Marines now. He didn't 4 years ago. It's probably because he's begging for support these days. Trump wouldn't even say Whelan's name. He wouldn't even broach the topic when he met with Putin.

I was a Marine, so I'm all for bringing Marines home and appeantly Trump declined a Bout/ Whelan trade. Additionally, Whelan has a bad conduct discharge and Whelan has citizenship in 4 countries.

If there was Whelan/Bout trade available, why have two administrations declined the trade??? And let's be honest, if Biden makes a Bout/Whelan trade, the right would be lambasting him for abandoning blacks, women, LGBTQs , etc. This has nothing to do with the trade; it's just a good opportunity to bash Biden.

Considering the WH admitted to working with Twitter and FB to censor, then later denied it, then twitter exposing FBI and DHS management in censorship, I have a hard time believing anything this administration says. Whats worse is liberals have no issue w/ the censorship AND no issue with it being directed by the government. Scary Jan 6th protesting elected officials after capital police open the doors and pelosi denies extra security, but literally gov officials guiding twitter and facebook on how to censor. Literally Nazi tactics. Everyone forgets how Hitler took control of the press in German and here we are, the WH "working" with social "media" outlets to control what is disseminated. IDGAF which administration does it, it sets bad precedence and it opens the door to government suppression.

Playing the politic game w/ your question, see what I'm doing here? i'm actually answering your question without posing another question or dancing around it. Progressive liberals have heavily played the race/gender/sexuality card. Every damn story was "black, wnba, lbgtq etc.. player was "wrongfully" detained/arrested/convicted in Russia. EVERY story the media and liberals play is about race and gender. Black man killed by police, the news cycle for months. How about black man runs through crowd killing and seriously injuring dozens? Nope that story was dropped. Or how about the "white male"... Oops non-binary shooter at the gay club in Colorado.. That shit dropped off the map pretty fast. Parkland was in the news for months. Colorado maybe 4 days before his lawyer said he's non-binary.

SO, back to my original question: Do you still think the trade was the best bang for the buck?

I understand your point about the NY times, they denied the Hunter Biden laptop but with Twitter exposing FBI and DHS cooperation into censoring the story, again finding a news outlet that is at least partially honest is a struggle. Stories abound saying both so its an honest question you pose but that begs the question, which story do we believe? Do we chose the narrative we want to hear?

However, this administration has been a shitshow IMHO so I really don't put it past them. I'm not a democrat so I'll be hard pressed to cheer them on. Maybe Biden can impress me by stop selling our oil reserves to china and europe but I won't hold my breath.

You do keep mentioning "my boy Trump" and here is this; I don't have a problem saying he did plenty I do not agree with, however I've yet to hear a single democrat admit the same from their messiah. Its always rhetoric double talk that Trump did such and such, or Trump tweeted mean tweets but Democrats, minus bill mahar, are incapable of saying anything Biden/democrats do is a mistake etc. 🤷‍♂️

From what I did find on the bout/whelan offer, trump didn't like the marine for an international arms dealer. Like I said I don't like it but it is what it is. That was then, this is now.

As far as the conduct charge, it could have been not getting a vax, or sleeping w/ a subordinate. I worked at the PMO back in the day and I saw plenty of misc "charges" that as a civilian I thought were ridiculous. Officer banging an enlisted, someones wife got caught shoplifting? I think its silly, two consenting adults but thats the rules.

You know as well as I, if you're really a member of the service, until his FOIA if released fully unredacted its simply a guessing game as to the discharge. And if someones citizenship is an issue for liberals then why aren't you screaming to close the border and reinstate title 42? IDGAF about a US citizen having multiple citizenship, if he denouces the US then burn him. Yep, if he denounces the US, then burn his ***. Really same for griner. If she is so upset w/ the US then she should find a country that better suits her political ideology.

But I don't care but dual citizenship as its common for foreign born and or world travelers.

Please tell me, who "on the right" would be "lambasting" the WH for leaving an anti-american person in Russia?

The Right don't need an opportunity to bash Biden or leftist ideology, all I have to do is go to work and deal w/ the constant shitshow, or buy generic chicken thighs, a half gallon of milk, a few mixed veggies and have a $67 walmart bill. $67 bucks for like 12 fukin things..... Or lets talk about how I nearly got fired for not being brainwashed into getting the vax, or a heating bill doubled compared to last year. Or that the price of tires has increase by almost 35%, inflation up 14% from last year, dow is down between 3000-6000 points depending on the time of the month. Lets force everyone to EV w/ the electrical grid that cant support the current power needs in multiple big cities or how about transgenders doing strip shows for little kids or school administrators passing out ****** and butt plugs!?

The "right" don't need a reason to bash this administration. It's a g@ddamn shitshow. At least Clinton only fuked monica, not the rest of the nation.

The Russians wanted another guy in the trade for Bout. Cool talked about it earlier. The other guy Russia wanted is in jail in Germany. Trump wouldn't even say Whelans name. Now Trump is saying that he would bring Whelan home. Trump is begging for support these days.

And every Republican will say that Biden hasn't done anything. We're still energy independent and bills are getting passed. They just passed a big one today that even the Republicans were on board with. Biden by know means is perfect and I think most Democrats would admit that. The problem is that every Republican still says that Trump was perfect and the best President ever. Why did he have such a low approval rating if he was so perfect? The Republicans will never say that Biden has done one thing right. If Biden is so bad then why did he just have historic midterm election success? Are the Republicans in such disarray that they can't beat these horrible Democrats? If people are doing there political research on Facebook and Twitter then that is on them. It's pretty sad that people want to blame a blow out in a Presidential election on a social media page. Trump did a lot of good and a lot of bad just like Biden and every other President in history. I do know only one President has had a cult following and that is Trump. You can even read the Cult of Trump book if you want to.

And the Republicans can't beat these horrible Democrats in the elections. That should tell you something about the Republican party these days. Saying Britney Griner is anti-American is a bit of a stretch. It's funny how Republicans are mad at Biden because he didn't bring Whelan home but are ok that Trump wouldn't even say his name or bring him he when he had the chance. Hypocritical? America is fukked for the next six years. I like how the Republicans are fine with Trump having dinner with an anti-semite and white supremacist. No big deal, right?
