Not the point and we are grown. We know why or why not and don't need shit explained every damn post. The point is, liberal fuckers in this forum made the comments about "when was anyone denied this or that" show us proof blah blah blah and this shit does happen whether assclowns like it or not. It gets tiring listening to people talk shit about things that actually happen because they choose to be blind and ignorant.

And this exactly why things need to be explained, because certain people like to take things out of context. She's not being denied a kidney because of some liberal bias against the unvaxxed. She's being denied a kidney because kidney transplants are rare and valuable and therefore the medical establishment does what it can to maximize the chances of a positive outcome. Since transplants require immune suppressers to avoid rejection, the medical establishment has determined that it's best practice to be fully up-to-date on immunizations. I get that you don't like the explanation because it doesn't fit your narrative, but that no reason for others to stand by and allow reality to be twisted and distorted to fit somebody else's narrative.

You’re trying to use this Duke situation to prove a point, but it’s a fail. Surgery gets denied for all kinds of reasons. Talk to a surgeon about fixing a torn labrum when your fasting glucose level is 184.

I can't believe that family is either stupid enough and/or political enough and/or callous enough to let the vax stand between their daughter and life saving surgery. You'd like to say it's wonderful the Hicks adopted this girl, but maybe not. Ironically, they're citing their religion - assuming they're Christians, last time I read the bible ask and thou shall be forgiven. Last time I read the bible I don't recall Jesus expressing an opinion on vaccines, but assuming Jesus is anti-vax, the bible "strongly suggests" he'll forgive the Hicks. Maybe they're Jewish, the God in that version of the bible was far less forgiving, but you asking for forgiveness wasn't part of the "covenant" in the Old Testament, you just had to believe and practice. Not really sure what religious grounds they're standing on, but when it comes to surgery, I generally side with the docs.

If she had Covid, the couldn't do the surgery and the point of the vaccine is to make sure her immune system can effectively fight off the virus when she (almost inevitably) gets exposed to it. They're not asking her to take ivermectin... Did you get your drugs confused???

I know the left doesn't like to mention that because you can make money by selling a vaccine but you can't make money from the natural immunity. Just like you can't regulate *** which is why in most states ************ is not legal.

No it's twisted logic because you claimed the Dems were denying access to this that and the other in an effort to force people to get vaxxed. Reality is not all transplant docs are Dems, vaccine/transplant policies existed prior to Covid and this is not part of some Dem plan to "force the population to get vaxxed." You're the biologist, I would think you would know why transplant patients have to get vaxxed prior to the procedure.

The real issue here is the parents playing politics with that girl's life, but that doesn't seem to bother the neo-conservative movement as much as 1 more person getting vaxxed. Can't have that even if it saves the girl's life.

It's for lack of being vaccinated. They'd deny her over the flu shot or any number other vaccines. Of course the medical reasoning doesn't matter, just the political narrative... Mean old Dems denying poor little girls their kidneys... It says alot about the parent's politics vs how much they care for their child vs facts. The facts overwhelmingly show you're better off with the vax and new kidney than without the vax and kidney failure, but some people place politics above all else.

Medicine isn’t politcal. Conservatives are far from the only ones who don’t want to have to take experimental vaccines with known and admitted side effects just to be treated like a normal person.
