How do you consider a “a pledge” by council members in a city 8 hours and a state away to be reason for Kyle to drive to a state he doesn’t live in to voluntarily protect a business?

Do you not know how city government operates?
Hint: A city council “pledge” doesn’t change a current operating budget for a city 8 hours away in another state.

Regardless, what does any city other than Kenosha have to do with Kyle Rittenhouse going to Kenosha because "police were Democrat defunded"?
The Kenosha police budget didn't change mid-year after the Floyd incident. You are using a false premise as a reason for Kyle to be there.

Probably because it looks bad for Democrats. Kyle was there to defend property. Why? Because Democrats defunded police. There was far less police presence and riots as well as looting were all over America. Kyle was there as an American to protect.

Police not being there is why he was there otherwise he would not need to be there. I gave you the reason the police weren't there in the numbers they should have been there with.
