You’re assuming that a change to EV will just occur by suddenly making tens of thousands of vehicles with no infrastructure to support them.
Gas stations seemed to appear when gas cars became common. So did tollbooths, lol. Only one of those was due to government.
Right now, there is 1 charging station for every 86 EV cars on the road. STATION, not electric feed. And the VAST majority charge at home, which means charging stations are currently underutilized.

If/when EV becomes the standard, the infrastructure will follow.
Welcome to capitalism.
.

Good point; the charging infrastructure for personal EVs is already pretty solid. I hear stories about difficulties getting charged, but at least in my neck of the woods, I see unoccupied chargers all the time.

I don't see the big issue. The miscalculated mileage sucks, but you stop, charge up, eat, piss and hit the road. I don't see that it really cost him that much time. But lets assume it cost him an hour of his time - he saved ~$65 dollars. $65/hour isn't bad. Additionally, how much money and time does he save by eliminating gas stations from his life?

Speak for yourself lol. Death is unavoidable. How’s avoiding death going to work for you in the long run?

Uhmmm, it'll probably help you live longer?
If that isn't a goal, why not just off one's self and get it over with?
Why have you spent hundreds of thousands in taxpayer money to diagnose and heal your illnesses, unless you wanted to stay alive longer?

I haven’t spent any taxpayer money, scooter, outside of whatever the state’s healthcare system insurance policies are, but that applies to everyone. Good one 🤡

Isn’t the goal of life to live a happy life? Living life in the thought of avoiding death only is living out of fear, and fear is how structures like the Vatican and scientists control people.

About $10-12K a year to insure you.
When your medical bills exceed that, the insurance company starts jacking up rates to maintain profit ratios. Those rates are paid by the taxpayer.

Yet, you spent all that time and money living your life in the thought of avoiding death...

Nice try. I was taught young that if you do something, do it right so you don’t have to do it again.
And if doing it right takes no more effort than doing it wrong, even MORE reason to do it right.
I don’t care if you sweep floors in McD’s or run Amazon; you should always do your best.

Do you think that’s a bad way to act?

getting that hung up on pixels over the internet is a bad look bro

its not that serious

It's more of a life philosophy. if you revel in doing it wrong when it takes no more effort to do it right, you do you. It's weird, though.

Yeah, but our healthcare isn’t supposed to be socialized, and I rarely go to the doctor. I can’t avoid those laws, and I have my own health insurance f*ckface.

I’m not living my life avoiding death. I’m living my life trying to always find a higher quality of life to make less suffering while I’m alive. I’m not scared of what comes at death, whatsoever.

That is not your own insurance. That is Medicaid, paid for by the Federal Gov't.
YOU claimed the hundreds of thousands in medical bills, not me. That's more than the occasional doctor visit, IMO.

All of your medical intervention is to prolong life and avoid death. Illness begets death. it's why we try to avoid or cure it. ANY illness.
If you are truly not scared of death, you would just let whatever happens happen. You didn't.
Nothing to be ashamed of. Death scares the shit out of me. Far too much to see and do and far too many new things will be created down the road.
