Nope. I set my own hours and my job is task-based. I have to get my work done or I don't have a job. I may be working at 2AM or at 12 Noon. When I'm not working, I provide uncompensated care for an invalid family member, which means I have to be close and available, but I can surf the net, read, watch TV, or spend time with them as they desire. Sometimes we watch a show together and i post here while watching the show.
in my last fiscal year review, I had a return ratio of $9.00 for every dollar spent on the grant to employ me. To help you out, that means my job yields a profit to the taxpayer, not an expense.
If you consider a net gain on investment to be a waste, that would be another example of your poor understanding of business and economics.

So you take care of a family member? So why give me grief for helping my family members?

I don't take money from the government for any kind of assistance. I own my own home, I have a degree, I have plenty of money in savings, I work because I want to and because I can, not because I "need" too. This doesn't mean I can't gripe about shit or have opinions about shit. My family members have a place to live because of me and I don't mind at all. In the mean time, I will hang here with my friend and his wife, our two annoying dogs and work this job until I don't want to. Then I will wonder wherever. My brother wanted to move to Bakersfield, Ca. before he passed away. I may try that down the road.
