This is true. We didn't grow up with much and in a crappy neighborhood. I chose to move from that area and look for different opportunities. Now I'm doing pretty well for myself.

Okay, but would you not agree that you don't have the same opportunities as say Sam Walton's children? I don't know what type of lifestyle you have, but I'd guess even if one of Sam Walton's children screwed up as bas as they possibly could screw up, they would be "doing better" than the vast majority of Americans.

You do realize the parties change quiet a bit over time. For example, abortion wasn't a party line issue until Reagan. In the 60s it was the Dems who started a ridiculous war based on lies and deception and a republican pulled us out of it. 40 years later, those role reversed, although Trump deserves (some/majority) credit for getting us out of Afghanistan. Go Trump!!!

How the fukk did Trump get us out of Afghanistan? He said he would but couldn't do it. Just another Republican lie. Can you name the last unnecessary War that a Democrat go't us into?

Used to oppose Gay marriage too. Clearly he has changed his positions on these issues. Are you saying I/we should hold it against Biden that he said Roe v Wade went too far ~50 years ago. Should I condemn Biden because he was anti-gay marriage ~30 years ago???

If I post something, I've generally fact checked it first. I kinda like facts as opposed to the distortions, half truths, outright lies and conspiracy theories that often come with political discussions. So in the future, you can just google it to confirm it and/or see if there is additional context I may have left out (for the sake of brevity).

Former president Donald Trump set an agreement with the Taliban insurgents in February 2020 that all US forces would withdraw from Afghanistan by May 1 this year.

Biden ordered a review when he came into office in January. On April 14 he announced a four-month postponement of Trump's deadline, saying US and NATO troops "will be out of Afghanistan before we mark the 20th anniversary of that heinous attack on September 11th."

As for the last unnecessary war a Dem got us into, I just got done citing the Vietnam war in the post you replied to. They've probably screwed the pooch since then, but that one stands out a monumental screw up.

Myself, I'm going to assume his probably just migrated along with the rest of liberal America on these issues. Furthermore, I could really careless if his heart is behind his support of gay marriage. I lived thru the "3 strikes" debate and I don't recall (many) Republicans saying it was too strong. As a matter of fact recall strong support for 3 strikes from (most) Republicans.
