Because all 18 year olds make great decisions. There's a reason the legal drinking age is 21. I'm all for people owning guns. I'm also for good background checks and age limits to buy certain guns/rifles.

a couple things to unpack here. . . you do know that only a VERY small minute percentage of 18 year olds have actually committed these kind of violent acts right? So who really are you to persecute the other MILLIONS of 18 year olds who lawfully purchased their rifles and are responsible owners. You may have been a dumb *** when you were 18..... but don't put every 18 year old ADULT into that basket

next you call them 'killing machines'. EVERY gun. . . even a musket is designed to kill genius. In fact, of all the "mass shootings" only 3% are carried out with "assault rifles". This is the left leaning fallacy. They act like the only way your going to kill 10, 20, 30 people is with an AR15 because its soooooo high power and large capacity. yet, we saw 32 people killed in virginia tech and all the man had was a 9mm glock and a .22 handgun. So after you ban the AR's and people are still being killed by LESSER types of arms... you idiots will be marching the streets to ban them too.

But we should address the FACT that the vast majority of mass shootings happen in inner cities where gun regulations are already about as strict as they can possibly be with seemingly no effect. These shootings happen frequently in Chicago and none of you give a ****. It only matters when it happens in areas that you all think you are safe at.
