I’ve discussed the metrics with you before. BY PERCENTAGE of what rent, food, taxes, cars and household bills run a normal household, the cost has steadily increased at a higher rate than wages for decades. Fact. You can blather on like Fox News and MSNBC does about how well the economy is gauged by the traditional corporate gauges, but meanwhile the rest of us actually live out here in real life working to make a living. Real life matters more than what your corporate constructed metrics can say.

Why do you think uneducated liberals think a higher minimum wage is needed? Because they also know these facts, even though they don’t understand that simply raising the minimum wage does nothing without price controls.

Those are not the metrics used to judge economy, which is precisely why I asked the question.
The metrics are not “corporate constructed”, and inflation has been going on for far more than decades.

You can have all the opinions you want, but basing them on your own fabrication of reality makes you seem unintelligent, or at the very least uninformed.

It’s like the guy who says “I don’t care what the dyno says, my engine produces a thousand HP”. It’s not how it works.
You don’t get to say the economy is doing poorly when you make up your own guidelines.

What is embarrassing is that anytime Democrats fail they blame Trump. As if that is some "get out of jail free card" that excuses them from all wrong doing. Kind of like how people who pull the race card after they commit crimes and then get arrested.
