What Trump said was far more credible as a direct instruction to do something than a "promise to make policy" can be considered an instruction for people to cross the border illegally.
"Our country has had enough. We will not take it anymore and that's what this is all about. And to use a favorite term that all of you people really came up with: We will stop the steal."
'We will never give up. We will never concede. It doesn't happen'
"You don't concede when there's theft involved. Our country has had enough. We will not take it anymore."
'If you don't fight like hell you're not going to have a country anymore'
'We are going to the Capitol'
Lemme guess: None of this was meant literally? No plan to actually go to the Capitol and take any action at all? Just a speech to show the world he's a good loser?
Actually, you should read the transcript of the speech if you never heard it or read it. It's fvcking embarrassing. Even more pathetic than showing up at the Four Seasons landscaping company for a presser. Christ, the man rambles so much during the speech, you'd have thought he was having a stroke. here's a doozy:
"You know most candidates on election evening and, of course, this thing goes on so long. They still don't have any idea what the votes are. We still have congressional seats under review. They have no idea. They've totally lost control. They've used the pandemic as a way of defrauding the people in a proper election."
