The border crisis started under Bill Clinton when he closed the border in 1995. Prior to that, people from Mexico would work here and freely cross back and forth. After 95 they were afraid they wouldn’t be able to get back for work, so they stayed here. That’s when the “border crisis” actually started.

The border crisis did not start under Trump. I literally live on the border and there are tons more people coming through where I live than any time in the last 15 years I’ve lived here. They had to close all the road side stations here to divert agents to the border because there are so many people crossing. Not sure where you’re getting your info from.

Pretty easy to find for yourself. They stopped the building of Trumps wall also. Biden and Kamala were very vocal about this during the election. Why rely on someone else to provide proof?

Someone breaking the law does not allow us to break the laws in our treatment of them. Hell, we save the lives of enemy soldiers we’ve shot and captured.

You're implying that illegal immigrants are the victim because they knowingly broke the law. Border separation payments would be more akin to committing a crime, then being compensated for being put in jail.

The whole reason a lot of people are democrats in the first place is because they believe in a more open border. To somehow argue that democrats aren’t for a more open border makes zero fvcking sense. This is why liberals lose re-elections so goddamn often. They don’t have the balls to just say “I am for the free movement of people”. Instead, they try to deny what they are in public while having a different policy behind the scenes. Have some courage for once to stand up for what you believe in.

It's weird... I don't solely watch CNN or other left only leaning media and I can see videos of Biden and his Admin literally inviting people to come to the boarder. How is it that you people that support Biden and his admin claim to have no knowledge of what the people you are supporting so blindly have said? Not everything that's over your head is "stupid". Comparing death to separation really shows your uninformed bias. Our justice system ALWAYS separates families when someone is rightfully arrested for breaking the law, or would you prefer kids go to jail/prison with their parents?
