Death Valley isn’t the desert southwest. It’s a shithole valley. Even Arizona has mountains with skiing, California is only worth visiting then leaving.

Colorado mountains, Oregon rain forests, Yellowstone, the desert southwest and gambling in a shithole. California could fall off and it would make no difference.

I hope that you aren't calling Vegas a shithole. I'm thirty minutes from being on the lake in shorts fishing or thirty minutes the other way from skiing or hiking in the Red Rock mountains.

Vegas is in the middle of a shithole state. I can’t think of a more dismal drive than Nevada.

I lived there years ago and loved it. Still have a bunch of friends there and usually go out there about twice a year. By far the most perfect weather in the entire country. No contest.

Socal. Hell most of CA is cooler than the southeast. Imagine living in Louisiana or Florida! A hot day in CA is like 80. It's like 70 there most of the time
