You may want to see if your doctor can switch you to Baclofen, or ask about it. It's a muscle relaxer but also helps with spasms. I have used both as I've broken my back twice with differing severity, along with my neck, right rib cage and shoulder. With that being said, everyone reacts differently to pain meds. I've used quite a few with my injuries, but only when the pain was driving me crazy and could not relax.

Funny you say that. I told my wife to get some bourbon and coke on the way home tonight from work. It’s been 10 hours now since I took one of the oxycodone, so i should be clean enough now to be safe on my liver. I do have to say though that it was working for pain, as now I feel like dying, but I can’t do another sleepless night.

It works man. I have over 13 ruptured disc in my back. I stopped the pills.I use over the counter pain asprins. But when I have a bad day or 3.. Its Wild Turkey 101 and Coke a Cola, and Ice packs on the areas.

About the strongest over the counter pain meds you can get. I generally take 2-3 at a time.I think you can take a Max of 3200mg a day to be safe. May have to look it up to be sure though.

Dont use any HEAT.. Just Ice on your pain areas. Ice will help you heal

I cracked a rib a couple months ago while doing a Defensive Tactics/Control Techniques class. That hurt like a b!tch. I couldn’t imagine several broken ribs.

If you can stand to take an ice bath with Epson Salt it will help you heal also, like twice a week. Ice can get expensive, but GO OLD SCHOOL.. make your own. Use tupperware plastic bowls and freeze your own Ice Clumps. Use the Tap water to dissolve the Epson salt, and later put the Ice Clumps in. You may have to keep some cough suppress. on hand to keep from coughing during your recovery as well... Just things Ive done from experiences.. on roughing it to heal from Cracked/broken robs to blown out knees to damaged back issues without taking the Nasty pills(expensive pills)

Fell from a roof yesterday and just got released from the hospital with 7 broken ribs, a bruised kidney and a dislocated shoulder. Completely missed my spine or I’d have been in real medical trouble. Thanking my lucky stars today that it was just ribs and the shoulder. Pain management is going to ****, since I don’t take opioids though.

I take those Bichees on the Daily, or I dont operate man. I take 3500 daily. Asprins,Ibuprofins and That trash Aleeve and Motrins have are complete garbage

Other than that.. Tramadols work fine and Robaxin 500/10s from Dr. Tramadol isnt addictive. After I had a Liver and Kidney function test done after taking strong pills like candy for 13 years, I asked for tramadol 50s

Sleeping on the Couch was better than in bed. I didnt move around as much.Laying flat use a pillow under both knees so you can get some air in the lungs a bit better.It worked for me
