Power conditioners or HU that has built-in protections?

Howdy, got a Gen2 Prius that has lots of background noise issues... with Car AV, is there anything like a power conditioner to ensure what's supplying the head-unit is clean power?

Or, any head units have good built-in power systems?

Got a Kenwoood KMM-X503 Excelon that I suspect has some bad circuitry, but if I bring it in for warranty and they put it on a clean bench power supply to test, I doubt they'll hear the issue.

Sounds like you have a bad ground or one of your wires is pinched behind the HU
Isolators are for running a second battery and relays are basically switches
Your headlights, wipers are examples of things that have relays

Thanks for the ideas. I've tried just about every method of resolving the ground loop / bad ground issue for noise... thought the power lead filter (aka - in-line noise suppression filter) might be worth a shot... what you think?

Audible noise is most likely related to audio signal. Do you notice it when you are listening to the radio? CD's? Bluetooth? Your deck gets solid power from your 12v battery. If you have 12v coming in and a solid ground, i would rule out your power supply.
