My SSA ICON 15 Buck Box Build

So I finally finished (mostly) the box for my SSA ICON 15 that @Buck designed. I just need some carpet. I had one hiccup with the cup terminal. I set my router guide on 3 5/8” instead of 2 5/8” so I had to Jerry rig a scrap piece of wood over it. Pissed me off, but it’s not the end of the world. I thought my Alpine X box was big, but this thing it huge lol. And most importantly... it BANGS!

I like those subs a lot. If I didn’t have a nicer car I’d beat the crap out of it with some of those. Low Fs, relatively low Qms, progressive suspension, and the price. Like you can’t beat the Fs and Qms combo, from what I’ve seen. That’s impressive to me.

It’s really up to whoever builds it. I think the effect would be relatively minimal, say with his box. Some of the loudest boxes I’ve ever heard are the simplest ones. His isn’t the simplest, but I bet if he rounded every corner over, it wouldn’t sound any different. Doing stuff like that may help if you’re chasing 10ths of DB’s
