I have always had something other then stock as far as car sounds are concerned. Starting with my first car back in the days (1989) a 63' VW bug, I had two 15" MTX Terminators, 2 Precision Power amps, Clarion tape deck, and an Alphasonik EQ.
After that (1991) I had a new S-10 truck with two 10" Kickers that I had a local sound shop custom build the box for behind the bench seat, it sounded great! The guy said it was a 3way chambered port? Well people used to think I had a box in the bed of the truck!
And all the cars I've had since I always add a sub and an amp or something to make it sound better than stock. What fits my budget at the time, and I love to browse forums like this to pick up knowledge and advice from all the people out there.

Sounds cool! I started in 89' with a 63' VW Bug, slammed all around, took out the stock engine & put in a 1776cc with dual carbs, all chrome, then decided to take out the back seat and go with 2 15" subs, everyone else I knew had 10's or 6X9's, so I went bigger. It was fun in those days.
