blown speaker not blown

replaced a speaker I thought was blown. New speaker does/sounds the same. thoughts ... Please and Thank You--

Wiring short.

That is what I thought but did not want to be true. How would I go about repair when it is in a harness ...?? Please and Thank You by the way--

Check the door jam. Pretty common for the wiring to have a short there from opening and closing the door so much.
