The cheap way is with a loc. Not the best but gets the job done fast and easy. Lots of videos on youtube on how to do it. Pioneer makes good budget mono amps that would be perfect for you.

Is it an amplified factory system or not?

Crutchfield will probably be your best bet.

I believe so it has a small amp in the trunk but i dont think its big enough for the 12s

Well yeah but it makes a difference in how simple it will be to upgrade. The upgraded amplified systems are normally more of a PITA.
