i have a really nice 5959 ...but was planning on using it with my 3618.. i may sell it ...id have to see which letter it is i havent fooled with my vintage Aklpine stuff for some while now ...
Mines an Alpine 5959 with phono Optical output no letter from my research the Optical output has the best SQ ..

Hi, thanks for the reply, yeah I really am looking for the S with the optical output as I will be using it. Thanks for looking though, What would you ask for the shuttle? Philip

I probably have too much in it ...I bought it for $250 for my 7618 ...Its in mint shape with the cable and two spare cartridges in the boxes ...

yeah that's more than I'd be looking to spend..is that what you would have to have or is there room?
It took me 3 years to find that one when I was looking for one ...I got burned out of $150 on a supposed working 5957s in my search ...Im not sure if I'll ever put the setup together or not ...I have the digital crossover as well ...it all started with the 7618 cassette deck...Id let it go for what I have in it ...and enough to cover safe shipping or save everything and maybe install in my 89 Probe LX...in a nice old school setup ...If you don't find one you can let me know ...I'll get you pics of it working and all...

I have 3 working 5957s as we speak. lol

ahh yeah I remember those! I'm a old, old school alpine fan. I have a lot of the digital max stuff. 3-5957s 2-7618s 1-7619 1-3681 1- 3362 2-3554s 2-7288s a 3321 eq.. I have a thing for the old school alpine..

a collector of sorts,,I do have the 7619 in my car and use it..thats what I want the 5959s for , to use with the 3681
