lol yea i guess ill have to just put it on the top about 3 inches in diameter. ill proll just get some pvc pipe and go about 5 inches deep. any suggestions on something different to use or a different depth?
I suggest that you use a slot port. It would probably be longer than round ports, but it would be easier to make and can act as a brace for the box. Some don't like it, but you can also make interchangeable ports too. I'm currently making one for fun.
again, slot ports need clearance... top would be a good place to start. YOu can't simply get dimensions out of thin air. You gotta get acquainted with winISD pro. Remeber, larger the port, longer it is. smaller=shorter, but also prone to air turbulence.
you won't get the tuning you are looking for if you just make a port based on the box height. SLots ports are easier to bend, just need to make something like a maze inside. If you wanna know what I mean, refer to edesignaudio.com's recommended box blueprint.
