Just hope your port will see enough clearance at the exit, or you'll have to listen to turbulent air...:(

is there anything to do about this? its goin behind the seats of a truck, so the port almost has to be on the side there.

There's always the top, or the front side of the box. I think I know why you put it there. You CAN "bend" the ports via "elbows". ;)

lol yea i guess ill have to just put it on the top about 3 inches in diameter. ill proll just get some pvc pipe and go about 5 inches deep. any suggestions on something different to use or a different depth?

I suggest that you use a slot port. It would probably be longer than round ports, but it would be easier to make and can act as a brace for the box. Some don't like it, but you can also make interchangeable ports too. I'm currently making one for fun. :)

where could i get the demensions for a slot port? and that would have to go at the top right?

box1

again, slot ports need clearance... top would be a good place to start. YOu can't simply get dimensions out of thin air. You gotta get acquainted with winISD pro. Remeber, larger the port, longer it is. smaller=shorter, but also prone to air turbulence.

lol when you use those terms im lost. all i know is the demensions of the box. i guess ill just go with a rectangle 3 x 5 port at 5 " deep.

you won't get the tuning you are looking for if you just make a port based on the box height. SLots ports are easier to bend, just need to make something like a maze inside. If you wanna know what I mean, refer to edesignaudio.com's recommended box blueprint. :)

yeah i see what you mean. they look good, where would i get maze demensions? and im not sure where iwould have the room
