what tools

When I have to get a new drill, I'll look into those flip bits. I could get new batts for this drill but they're like $50 apiece. Why spend that when I could get a solid new one for ~$100?

That's pretty cool... because with cordless drills, the drill pretty much always outlasts the batteries. I have a Craftsman drill sitting in the garage with a dead batt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I bought all my power tools from a local pawn shop. Top name brands at very good prices.

That is, if you don't mind "used" tools.

BTW, now is a good time to buy because a lot of contractors sell their stuff during the winter months.

The best tools for fabrication will by far be templates. If you build rings, tear drop pods, etc always make one extra and save it. It will save you so much time in the future. A router in a router table along with multiple bits will probably be the most useful in fabrication.
