Second, all i said was i personally wouldn't deck out such a nice SUV the way dude did, simple as that. I would have made it look a lot better, but its his personal choice to do what he did. I don't see the rational in spending that much to go deaf sooner than 99% of the world.

I like bass, but not 20-40 thousand dollars worth.

I'm not sitting here tellin dude what to spend his money on, I'm just sayin I think you could make that ride look better with a lot less money IMO.

1/2 of 1 amp is for one side of subs, the other 1/2 of 1 amp is for the other side of subs...

30k watts are not going to subs only 15k are even then its split up being 2 amps.

Less peak current draw.
The RF amp trades less peak current draw for higher average current draw. This is a completely separate issue from efficiency. The RF amp can draw less peak current yet still have a lower efficiency than a "normal" amplifier.

I don't have the time right now to do any calculations....but I would be surprised if the RF amp actually has any advantages as far as total current consumption is concerned. I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually harder on an electrical system than a "normal" amplifier due to it's increased average current draw.

oh I understand that completely, there will be no way he could listen to it with the car off more than likely. dual or even quad altys are a must. either way its just like any other amp with higher wattage ratings, a stock electrical just wont cut it.

its kinda like running ac power, having constant current entering for long period of time until it builds up enough energy to disperse it.

the only thing i can say is, lets wait til the project is finished and see what meade has to say about, since he will be doin the testing...

I don't see why everyone is hate'n because the guy is spending insane amounts of money on something he wants. He's got the $$, why should you care? Just like you heading to the mall for a pair of the latest greatest pair of shoes for 150-200 bucks. You could have gone to Wally-World and bought some shoes that accomplished the same thing for $20. If someone told you that you spent way too much for those sneaks, you would tell them to eat a weenier. "It's my money, I can do with it what I want!"

that amp does it only drawing 300 amps of current.

RF has not figured out how to break the laws of physics. The amp can only accomplish that goal for short periods of time.
