I just purchased an Eclipse CD3200 to install in my 2004 Dodge Stratus R/T. This car has a 7 speaker Infiniti sound system in it.
I wired the head unit using the pre-wired connector. I connected everything, including the ground, and the unit will not turn on. I could hear a noise when I had connected everything for a second, then nothing. I tried connecting only the power, ground, and constant to another vehicle, and nothing happens.
I don't think there is a problem with the unit. I tried to connect another Eclipse head unit to this vehicle, and nothing happened.
I have installed a few head units before, but would definitely would not call myself an expert. Is there something unique with these Eclipse head units that I am unaware of?
Thanks for any info.
