So im graduating from h.s. this thursday and my parents decided i needed a reliable car for college(SFSU) next year so im now a proud owner of a 05 Mitsubishi Lancer...no its not fast no its not cool and no its nowhere near an evo, but it is mine so i can actually go all out on it. My other cars ahad been hand me downs from my parents and they limited me to a basic sub amp combo mediocre deck and budget components blah...So now i come to a crossroads after my grad party i hope to clear around $1000 i can spend on a system what do you think about this.....

Deck

Eclipse CD8445 $300

Front Stage

Pioneer TS-C160r $160

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_808.html

amp

old SoundStream rubiconII 3002 i have sitting around $free little break

Sub/Amp

AA Arsenal 10 $150

http://www.ascendantaudio.com/arsenal_page.html

amp

Diamond Audio d3 600.1 $240

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3011.html

total $850 leaves me around $150 for shipping costs, materials, wiring kit

What do you guys think? Im open to all suggestions since i know i dont know much about car audio

cool, i would suggest a better front stage and an amp for them. i had 850 bucks from my graduation gifts last year, had it in cash to pay for my treos the next day, got stolen while my house was under construction by one of the workers.

**** thats rough....i just finished reading the sticky about not getting your stuff stolen and im really thinking about taking a big chunk out of my budget for a good alarm ive gone awhile without a decent system i can wait longer if my cars safe

How about 2 Pioneer TS-W126 $140 (subs)

Power Acoustik A1000DB $160 (amp)

Pioneer TS-C160r $160 (comps)

Pioneer P680MP $200 (HU)

Total is only $660 and you can do what you want with the rest.

I put pioneer stuff just to make it all pretty much the same brand.
