My car doesn't read more than 200 music files from USB. Can i fix it?

Model: Chevrolet Malibu 2017-18
I copied 700 mp3 files to USB flash drive. It shows only 199 of them. Then i created 7 folders with 100 files. It didn't help. It was able to read only 25 files from each folder.
How can i fix it?

Sounds like an issue with the programming in your head unit. The designers didn't anticipate the day where the head unit would need to read 700 files. I installed a new head unit and a 240Gig hard drive. If you chose not to change your head unit, then limiting your MP3 files to 199 on several drives may be your only option.
